CALL FOR FACILITATORS AND HOSTS! < SUMMER 2025 > ONE-SHOT WEDNESDAYS + CASUAL FRIDAYS!

Hi Community! We are looking for facilitators/hosts for our summer June/July/August programming!

Casual Fridays will be back... these are casual meet-ups on our back patio that are free... they are themed (on a specific topic or series) and are just a way for like minded folks to meet up!

One-Shot Wednesdays are a new concept we are launching... each event will be a fun discussion of a one-shot (a manga that is stand-alone, just one volume). These events will be ticketed and the host will get a gift card as a thank you! We are looking for popular one-shots of all genres! This is a fun way to enjoy a low-commitment book club for the summer and meet new people!

Interested in hosting a Casual Friday or One-Shot Wednesday event? Please email us a short proposal by midnight on Sunday May 11th. You may submit up to TWO event ideas. Please specify which type of event (meet-up or one-shot book club), what your theme or book is, and why you want to host/facilitate! Also, please include if you have any availability limitations.

We hope to present separate programming for middle and high schoolers, so these meet-ups would be for 18+.
